Treasure Hide-A-Way

Ingredients:
            ½ cup butter
            ¾ cup honey
            2 eggs beaten
            1½ teaspoon vanilla
            3½ cups whole wheat flour
            ¾ teaspoon baking powder
            ½ tablespoon cinnamon
            ½ tablespoon nutmeg
            Pinch salt
            1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, macadamia, almonds)
            1 cup raisins or chopped dried fruit (apricots, pineapple dates, apples, mangos)

Directions:
            Cream the butter, honey and eggs. Add vanilla.

            Combine flour with other dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture.

            Form the dough into small balls with fingers or spoon; press down in the center of the  dough ball about half way and fill with nuts and fruit treasures. 

            Press dough over the top to hide the treasure.

            Bake 10-12 minutes in a preheated 350° F oven on greased cookie sheet.

            Let cool before serving.
